Challenging times and new books

30 days ago I set my latest book for pre-order on Amazon. The world has certainly changed since then. It seems flippant to talk about books in such a troubled time but I hope you are finding some enjoyment in books, craft, or art. Are you returning to old classics or finding new books to read? Are you escaping back in time or into alternate worlds? Are you seeking mysteries or settling down for some romance? Or do you feel like you can’t read at all (I’ve had a few days like that lately).

Instead of posting about The Alchemist of London, I’m going to share this drawing I did a few years ago. This lockdown has made me determined to revive my drawing skills.

I hope these plucky animals cheer you up. Which one do you like the most?

And if you do need something to read, the ebook of The Alchemist of London will be released this weekend, so make sure you get your pre-order copy and add it to your to-read list on Goodreads.

Keep safe everyone!
